This is a plain-language draft pending review by legal counsel. It states our practice honestly, but it is not yet a lawyer-approved document.
1. Who we are
Mantis Strategies B.V. operates cagnIQ and is the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@cagniq.com.
2. What we collect
Account data — your email address and password hash. Content you add — your journal entries, watchlists, alerts and theses; they exist so the product works and we don't use them for anything else. Usage data — which features are used, collected through product analytics to improve the app. Payment data — handled by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. This marketing site itself sets no analytics cookies.
3. Who processes it
Amazon Web Services (hosting, EU/US regions), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (delivery and security), and our product-analytics processor. Each receives only what its job requires. We do not sell personal data.
4. How long we keep it
Account and content data for as long as your account exists, then deleted on request or after prolonged inactivity. Billing records as long as tax law requires.
5. Your rights
Access, correction, export, deletion, and objection — email support@cagniq.com and we act on it. EU/EEA residents may also complain to their data-protection authority.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially we say so in the app before the change takes effect, and this page always carries its last-updated date.
